Gay pride is a simple subject. It’s the showing of support for the gays by the gays. We come together for a weekend or a month and party to celebrate what we have accomplished thus far. Recently the right to get married has been accomplished but there is still a lot more to be done.

Some of our people who have to celebrate pride don’t fully have rights. There are leaps and bounds left in the fight for their specific rights. We must support LGBTQ+ in all of its glory and be the people we know we can be. From Marsha P. Johnson to Neil Patrick Harris we are all valid and deserve to live a fair and loved life.

Gener Magazine has been founded on the grounds of free press and representing the masses. No one isn’t welcome but we will not be silent. The month of June has been set aside to represent those of us who were invalidated for so long. We are valid. We want to love. We will be strong and fight for all of us to have the future. It is LGBTQ(+) and we are all valid here.

You can help out by being nice to your fellow man and respecting his existence as you respect yours. Also here are some links to get involved in the fight for yourself:

These are just simple ways to get involved for your community and yourself. We need a lot of help. Educate yourself and be there for someone in nee
