[10.3.18] Snowballing, The New Way.

These days it seems to be harder and harder to get noticed. Social Media has become a giant for exposure and communication. People can do terrible things and become famous or be the best ever and go nowhere. But there is a way to make it all worthwhile. Be passionate and populate your talents.

The multi-hyphenate is the new standard in entertainment. We have all mastered smartphone photography and know what branding is so that is not enough anymore. Being able to control the project ship in more than one way is just good business and the photography is just one example. Anyone can be talented but can you bring a project to life understanding the aspects that bring them all together.

Snowballing is a term I use when referring to my own career and talents. I take pleasure in learning new ways to create. I love to work on a project and be able to have a hand in the process from beginning to end. I have learned so many different ways to be important to a project. My snowball could be beneficial in anyone’s entertainment snowball fight.

Don’t let yourself feel overwhelmed but as an artist or businessperson you need to be both. Search through each to see how you can grow and what interests you. What you could also be passionate about and it will help in the long run. After all Andy Warhol is famously quoted stating that business is the best art.

Mold your snowball to be as round and dense as possible and the doors that can open will multiply.
